As for Me and My Household

We’re wrapping up a message series we called Home Team. It’s been a series on family and all the joys and blessings and gifts and challenges that we experience in our families. Because we know that family doesn’t always work like it should—relationships get complicated and family gets messy. Yet family was God’s plan, so how can we live into God’s design and experience the best for our home team?

And we wrap our series with an invitation. As the end of his life drew near, Joshua challenged the Israelites to choose who they would serve--the gods of their ancestors and the surrounding culture or the Lord. Joshua's choice was clear: "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." May the same be true of us.
