Hope Longs for the Future

This unique Advent season we are preparing our hearts for Christmas by focusing on the thrill of hope available to us through Jesus. Because we serve a God of hope, we can be a people of hope! But by definition, to hope means that we wait on something that has not yet happened. Hope longs and yearns for what is not yet. Hope keeps its eyes on the future. This week we consider the ultimate future hope for followers of Jesus--resurrection. But what should we do as we wait for our hope to be fulfilled?
