Above and Beyond

The Book of Ruth is a big message in a short story. Ruth shows how God is building his grand story out of the small stories of ordinary people like us. It is a story of God's loyal love and an invitation for us to live in that loyalty. In week one, we met Ruth who was loyal to the end. Despite the hardship and tragic events of her life, Ruth's story is not over yet. This week, we meet a man named Boaz who shows compassionate generosity to Ruth in her time of need. Boaz inspires us to live with such generosity and we discover that loyalty.
