When God sent Jesus, it wasn't a threat. Jesus was not sent to be the heavy. He was not sent to meet out consequences for sin. His job was not punishment. Jesus was sent to rescue. Jesus was sent to redeem. Jesus was sent to save. That's the mission. God sent Jesus to save.
